In this collaboration with Zuloaga lab headed by the fabulous Charly Abi-Ghanem and Abby Salinero, we show that in a mouse model of VCID, high-fat diet and resulting metabolic disease results in sex differences in neuropathology, specifically white matter changes and neuroinflammation in several areas of the brain. This is a follow-up to our previous paper reporting on metabolic and cognitive outcomes (Salinero et al., 2020, FASEBJ). Make sure you check them both out!
