My name is Maheen Khan and I graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2022 with a double major in Biology and Behavioral Neuroscience and minors in Psychology and Pre- health. During my gap year I have been working as a pediatric medical assistant and applying to medical schools. Although my goal is to specialize in pediatrics, I'm keeping an open mind! Outside of school I enjoy baking and cooking, and recently have learned how to sew. I'm passionate about healthcare and enjoy volunteering at free care clinics as well as working with charity groups. In the future I hope to become a physician who works to increase equity in healthcare among underserved populations.
