"My name is Melanie Rojas, and I am a first-year student at Nova Southeastern University who plans to graduate in 2024. I am majoring in Neuroscience (aka the best major ever) and minoring in Pre-Health but also potentially Psychology. While applying to Nova, I was rewarded the Dean’s scholarship while also being accepted into the Dual Admission Osteopathic Medicine program. In the next 2-3 years, I plan on attending medical school where I will continue my studies on becoming a Neurosurgeon, or at least something in the neurology field. Outside of my academic life, I love going to the beach, playing soccer, and exploring new places/experiences. I see myself as an outgoing and adventurous person so hopefully in the next year or so, I will cross off the number one thing on my bucket list…skydiving! Not only do I want to live life to the fullest and enjoy this beautiful world as much as possible, but I also want to instill greatness and positive change before I leave."
